New Head of Marketing and PR at Cardiff Waterside
Plans for the £140 million Cardiff Waterside development have taken an important step forward with the appointment of Angela Parry-Lowther as Head of Marketing and PR. Based at the on-site Marketing Suite, Angela’s responsibilities will cover the existing estate and the new development sites, which will bring a further 550,000 sq ft of offices to Cardiff Bay.

Seeking to promote Cardiff Waterside to both national and international audiences, Angela is planning to promote the lifestyle benefits of working in Cardiff Bay. As she said:

“We are in a wonderful position overlooking Cardiff Bay, so I am very keen that we continue to make the most of our location, while at the same time putting in place measures that make everyone who works at Cardiff Waterside feel cared for and valued.”

Angela has worked previously as Head of Marketing and PR at the BBC in Wales, as Director of Taste of Wales and as Head of Marketing for the Development Board. Commenting on her appointment, Joy McSmythurs, Partner at Knight Frank LLP, which acts as asset and investment manager for Cardiff Waterside said:

“Angela has the right mix of skills and experience to position and promote

Cardiff Waterside to the national and international markets. She has already made a significant impact on the development and I am certain that her appointment will be a great success.”

Cardiff Waterside is a commercial development in Cardiff Bay that was acquired by Morley Fund Management on behalf of Norwich Union funds.
